Users control all MEGAfume via a large multilingual color touch panel display on the front of the unit. Users can quickly select and run one of our pre-programmed cycle options for common cyanoacrylate developers, or can modify and save programs, or fully customize and save their cycle settings. The system also allows users the option to run cycles fully automatically once they are started, or manually control each step of a cycle if needed.
Humidity, fuming temperature, and even cycle step time are all customizable, making the system simple to use with a wide variety of developers. Not only can it be used with standard cyanoacrylate and fluorescent one-step developers, the customisation options leave room for more uncommon cyanoacrylate developers and let users adjust their settings to even accommodate developers that are not yet on the market.
USB Data Logger
Reproducibility and documentation are extremely important when it comes to evidence processing, especially for those seeking ISO 17025 accreditation.
We’ve made sure that all cycle information, whether a pre-programmed of fully customised and manually controlled cycle is used, is recorded in the system via our datalogger. This data can be downloaded via a USB flash drive for review. Not only will our template program let users see a graphical representation of their data that is easy to interpret, they can generate reports with their data that show the chamber conditions and the chosen parameters for the entire cycle.
Users can also take advantage of this program to customize their reports by adding extra notes and department logos to the template.

Megafume systems utilize a high quality low-dust carbon filter for removing cyanoacrylate from the fuming chamber after a cycle is completed. This filter is highly effective at purging the chamber air, meaning no addition external ventilation system is required, and can quickly be swapped out without any tools when it’s time for a filter change. By default, MEGAfume is fitted with an in-expensive and environmental-friendly refill system but can also be equipped with a fully encapsuled filter cassette in a stainless steel housing.
